I was just wondering whats the preferred method of markup for gaps in single or multi asset CUE files?

I'm toying around with scripts to create CUE's, Join files based on CUE's, Split files based on CUE's,...silly stuff anyways.

Preferred CUE Gap Markup

Vote options

PREGAP MM:SS:FF

POSTGAP MM:SS:FF

INDEX 00 MM:SS:FF

Other?

Real cues normally have only INDEX (00 & 01 to store gaps)

Thanks for the reply Rocknroms.

Hehe I'm curious as to what the "Other?" method is that someone voted for...hehe guess I'm going to learn something new. Image

PREGAP and POSTGAP aren't alternatives to each other, 00 index (before the track) is pregap, 02 to 99 (after the track itself) - postgap. Full dump -- cue with indexes, stripped dump (gaps were cut out) -- cue with PREGAP/POSTGAP commands (they tell the burning tool or emulator to insert some null samples there). This "vote" is pointless, hence closed.
