Fullwidth spaces/latin letters etc
Surely this isn't how they all really are on discs/packaging/websites/in-game?

For Korean games in particular, I've noticed that redump sometimes uses fullwidth spaces and sometimes uses halfwidth spaces. Seems kinda inconsistent... As far as I know, Korean usually uses halfwidth spaces.

I think Shift-JIS with its wide symbols is a standard for Japanese typing.

But Shift-JIS also supports halfwidth characters. They do get used when writing Western language words embedded in Japanese text, albeit with exceptions.

I feel ASCII characters are often half-width.

Wiki pages, satakore.com and most of other console-related resources usually use full-width ones and people usually copy-paste them as is.

Meh, it's hard to say whether the symbols are full or half width on the cover when there's no other text nearby to compare with

Though, if you look at obis/spine cards, the spaces are usually quite wide (especially before the subtitles).
