What about things that are unlikely to ever be dumped again (i.e. Zelda TP E3 demo)?

No.

I am referring to this to this:
Legend_of_Zelda-Twilight_Princess_E3_Demo_USA_Wii-iND (ind-legend-of-zelda-tp-e3-demo)

The DS card is just a video.

If someone cannot get hold of the real disc, then no.

No-Intro is not about preservation, they are about wares. When it comes to scene releases they mutilate them, so again no preservation there.

Is redump's objective to only list known good dumps? Why is that?

Yes it is, because you can be sure of a good dump, and the 2nd good dump will be the same and the third and fourth.

And no, were not just listing "good dumps" we go that step further, we get the original follow the dumping guides and produce hopefully a good dump, the only time we even get to find out when we have a dump in the db that is bad is when someone comes along with the same disc dumps it expecting to find a certain value for the dump, and comes across something different, then the moderators set about finding out which dump is bad (if any) or whether their is actually an (Alt) version that is also a good dump.

We are not just listing in meaning collecting all ever found anonymous dumps spread over the internet. We are dumping and listing just our own stuff, not any others' work nor unverified foreign dumps.

I think the question of "why" is self-explaining.

ohh, and thanks tossEAC for your input Image

No probs Image

We don't like being anything other than nice to newbies, but if you want to rattle are cages asking for scene release intergration, because some rare Zelda game, we haven't dumped, is only available in scene format, that's no worries, to most normal people, as we know one day it will come along, and the quickest way for it to come along is for someone who is madly in love with the E3 Zelda Demo, seriously, is to go out and buy it, to dump for redump, of course.

Having a change of faith, to our whole religion, over 1 silly demo, never in a zillion Zelda years.

In other words it would be easier to buy the rare demo that you desire and dump it properly for redump, rather than even mention scene releases, and what we should do, its what you should do, buy and dump the games you think should be @ redump, not the other way around.

I personally have no interest in Zelda, but if it fell into my lap I would dump it anyway, what I like is shoot-em-ups, and their are loads redump need dumping, but I wouldn't want to see redump add scene releases because I know 9/10 cats hate them, so rather than ask for scene dumps, I would prefer to go and buy the games and do it the proper way. Even if it is harder to do that, due to $$$, that is the proper way.

Your best bet is to make lists of games you would like to see dumped and hope someone thinks the same way as you, and then goes out and buys what is on your list to have them added to redump. I would see no one complaining over that approach.

Sorry if I sound blunt and to the point, but that's the way it is.
