I'm trying to dump one of the missing XBOX games ("Scarface") that DIC seems to have an issue with right at the start.
I have two copies of the game and both are doing the same thing.
Probably the later, but maybe it's different than the regular english/european release.
It's the one listed in the PAL missing list (with the french cover which has a "Contenu Explicite" warning at the top left)
Tried to dump PS2 cheat discs with big data protection, always getting different hashes with newest versions of DIC, DICUI and DIC_test. Maybe you can take a look at it, logs are here:

statiomaster_032002_20210701T212154.txt --> It's old version. Typically, the bug report of the old version is meaningless.

Please check which bytes of the img of the latest DIC are different using fc command by the command prompt.
fc /b statiomaster_022002.img statiomaster_032002.img
As I wrote I used various versions, also the newest from github with same result: hashes not matching. I didn't knew that the logs from old versions are meaningless, uploaded any I had left on HDD. I'll dump them again and put those new logs up, also do that compare you mentioned.
I've been tired to say "Please use the latest version" every time, especially MPF users.
I recommend github issue from now on when the bug is reported.
If it is reported in this forum, see the bug_report.md.
I think this could be a key to saving a lot of VCDs with dumping errors - it seems this DIC dumping bug effects many VCDs in general (maybe 10-15% from my experience).

Follow up on that : I managed to grab another copy, same ringcode and all... and this time it worked without issues.
So likely something bad going on with the discs themselves even if they don't look visually bad.

It's weird... Do you upload these logs? Generally, "MEDIUM_ERROR - NO SEEK COMPLETE" is a drive problem.
