I have a PCE CD,  but it's totally strange.

Track 1 is audio, track 2 is data, then all audio tracks, final track is data again. And there are 3 seconds pregaps before data tracks.

AFAIK there is no copy protection on PC Engine CDs (correct me if I am wrong), so dumping discs for this system shouldn't be a problem. There is another issue though - multiple data tracks - but is it a problem for an experienced dumper? Image

so that would be great then  Image
i have some cds too, and i got some more for sega so i'll submit those meanwhile
and even if those odd gaps will prove to be incorrect later i think it's still ok, sector or 2 off it's not that bad

I think that would be great if they would, it would be nice if they could have a misc system part to hold the older games till they rise in number as I am in the process of getting the older systems 3DO, Jaquar, Phillips CD-I, Neo Geo CD and turbograph CD etc. and it would be nice to be able to post good dumps here.

it is.. if 2 dumpers get the same wrong result thanks to EAC, there's no way to tell if the dump is incorrect later on

yes, i understand your concern, that issue with no gap on 2 tracks, the result would be data lost, ok. but i think it's some eac internals. on psx i would get it correct on 1 drive from 3 and it can be verified with sector viewer and also full cd size would always match so i think it's ok. but what i mean is, i think ther's those all 2sec gaps and one 1.74 and oddities like that on this system but even if it's later proven to be wrong, like all gaps should be even, data would not be lost, only shifted, would it not? so existing dumps could be easy modified should such a need arise. and like 99% info can be verified until then so it's not lost like part of tapes and floppies are now.

Definitely there's something fishy about those 1.74 pregaps. If you give a look to SegaCD dumps, EAC reports regular 2.00 pregaps for discs with low write offset, but when the write offset is some crazy huge number then 1.74 gaps start appearing. Maybe EAC simply doesn't go along with huge offset discs.
