If I were you I'd stay away as far as possible from these discs... I tried to dump one of them a few months ago, nearly drove me insane.

You can't use IsoBuster here. Use ddump or CloneCD with these profiles. We need the defective sectors to be all 0x55, not 0x00. You MUST dump the disc at least twice with different drives. Some drives don't catch some of the error sectors, I don't know.

I could never get a consistent read on that disc I tried, so after countless retries I gave up. Maybe you have better luck. But be warned, it can take over a week for a single pass to finish depending on your drive...

Ok, thanks. I ask before because the time necessary for every dump is very long, and i want to be sure that make it right. In some days i post the results.  Image

A little offtopic, but Jackal recently had problems with a disc with twin-sectors protection and DIC, it wasn't able to read them (twin-sectors) properly.

Seems Alcohol 120% does the trick: http://www.cdmediaworld.com/hardware/cd … tech.shtml Filetypes supported for RingProtech: http://support.alcohol-soft.com/knowled … ge+Formats

Yes, I know. As redump.org, if a ripping guide with other tools is created, I can code in DIC in the same way as it.

Thanks! This is very useful.
BTW, I want to support a mds/mdf file in the future, but I don't understand a correct specification of mds.
I know this document.

If somebody knows it anything else, could you tell me?
