Not edition, since there's only one edition for these releases on Wii so these technically are the "Original"
"New Play Control" is the US/PAL version, seems it was put into alt title for those

By coincidence, the change to this disc's edition was approved yesterday, but should it be reverted? Or could this be a separate case?

Controller/accessory bundles are an entirely different matter; New Play Control was merely Nintendo's branding for a series of enhanced GameCube to Wii conversions, emphasizing the addition of motion controls to the games.

I want to point out that refurbished copies of New Play Control games in the US say Wii Play Control, as well as potentially some more obscure variants where they updated the cover

The Xbox "World Collection" seems to be in a similar situation, yet it is treated as an edition.
