Redump status update and new features!

Hello everyone! First, we want to thank you all for your patience as we've transitioned to the new site, and for bearing with us as we get everything stabilized and updated. The initial site brought many much-needed improvements to our system and processes, but we have been hard at work continually refining and working on updates. We want to share a few changes and updates that we've implemented since opening:
'Draft' system for disc submissions:
After your initial disc submission (new disc or verification), if we notice any errors or missing information, we can now send the submission back to 'Draft' status. You can now view your submissions, and if any are in Draft status, you can update or provide missing information, and re-submit back into the queue without re-doing the entire submission. If you have submissions that haven't been added, please check to see if any are in Draft status and need further review.
Advanced search / filters:
There is a new "Advanced Filters" button for the disc database, that you can use to customize and refine your search for a number of additional elements. Manual URL modifications are no longer required for filtering and searching for discs.
Staff ability to add new systems, regions, and languages:
Redump mods now have the ability to add new systems, regions, and languages to our database. Please do not add these pre-emptively, but if you have discs that require a new system, region, or language, please let us know and we can review and potentially add. Please note: for new systems, we are still primarily focusing on game-related optical systems, or systems that have game-related optical media, so this is not for other types of media formats.
Database download:
We are committed to the important redump data being open, transparent, public, and available. There is a new 'Database' section on the downloads page, where you can download a backup of the entire disc database, that will be updated daily. We believe this is an important feature for the project, and are thrilled to finally be able to deliver this along with our new site.
Wiki is now available for editing:
If you would like access to edit the wiki, please let a mod know, and we can add that for you.
MPF updated to version 3.8.3
MPF has been updated with a number of new features, including checking .info for matches, aligning the submissioninfo more closely with the new site format, and various other changes. We highly recommend updating to 3.8.3: https://github.com/SabreTools/MPF/releases
Redumper GUI available
A new easy-to-use GUI for redumper has been released for Windows, Linux, and macOS. Try it out here: https://github.com/Deterous/Redumper-GUI
Tracking system for feature requests / bug reports:
If you have a feature request or bug report for the site, please submit an issue to the GitHub page here: https://github.com/superg/vgindex/issues
Please review the existing issues to avoid duplicates
We are aware of and working on several new features and updates, that we have not yet implemented, including but not limited to the following:
[*] Proper handling of lead-in / lead-out tracks (Track 0/00 and Track A/AA)
[*] Creating proper database fields and moving data for some elements currently in the Comments field. If you see some duplicate data currently, such as Universal Hash existing in comments and also a separate field, please don’t edit those for now - we are working on resolving that
[*] Title updates / system for handling articles
[*] Potential options for uploading logs or log-handling (In the meantime, please include log links as normal)
We really appreciate everyone supporting the transition to the new site, and your patience with us as we've implemented new features. Most of your feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and supportive, which has been fantastic. We will continue to work on making the Redump project the best it can be. Thank you!
