Apparently, last time I requested an account, I already used this name, but I think account creation was closed.

So can I still create an account, but with the name 'BOBdotEXE' ?

You should have an account under BOBdotEXE.  I just sent you a message from the system - please check for that.  You may need to reset your password if you can't remember getting that finished.
