PROPOSAL: Adding multiple Platforms to specific CD ROMs

I've been dumping FMT software for about 7 months now and I've seen a lot of hybrid CD ROMs.  However they're not cross listed if there is a single dump.

The problem with that is there isn't a way to ensure the CD ROM is listed in both databases.  Actually all that occurs at this time is that the CD ROM has it in the comments.

For example, let's take a look at Fouge Vol. 2: Masuo per Masuo: Ikeda Masuo Hanga-shuu that I listed for the FM Towns

https://redump.info/disc/77917/

in the comments listed, whomever QA'd my dump we can see the following which is also on the CD ROM case:

Windows/Macintosh/FM-Towns CD-ROM
6MB RAM and 4MB HDD needed to run

This was also on the packaging material with system requirements and there are also operating systems files for this tri-brid CD ROMs

A lot of software in the early to mid 90s for Japanese retro computer's such as PC98, FMT, MAC, DOS/V and even regular WIN95 have at times hybrid or tribrid discs.  In the case of Fouge Vol. 2: Masuo per Masuo: Ikeda Masuo Hanga-shuu it is only listed in the FM Towns sub-database but it isn't cross listed in the MAC and PC98 lists.

So what I'm requesting or proposing is a way where I can select a tick-box or checkmark in the NEW DISC submission where I can check other common Japanese operating systems and computers that it may be hybrid/tribrid for in the meantime since it appears my dumps that are hybrid/tribrid won't be double-listed.  In the case of Fouge Vol. 2: Masuo per Masuo: Ikeda Masuo Hanga-shuu it would have MAC, PC98, FM TOWNS, DOS/V, X68000 ETC  to ensure cross compatibility.  That way any newer disc dumps could potentially count as a validation AND then be cross listed in the appropriate section

Example. Your best friend cyo submits a game called The Horde

https://redump.info/disc/10292/

r09 submits his under FM Towns and his is approved as such but also ticks off DOS/V and PC98 under tickboxes in new disc submission list under the same list of information that is filled out such as PVD, CUE sheet etc.  Then cyo submits as FM Towns and ticks off DOS/V and PC98 under tickboxes but whomever is approving submissions counts it as a verification for FMT and starts new entry for PC9821 or even DOSV.  However under this proposal 4 CD ROMs would be required to ensure 3 entries across the board.

Okay, i will add a subsystem option where other supported systems can be listed as well.
Such discs will also appear in the disc search in all the listed systems incl. the main one,
as well as in all the datfiles which qualify for that (if this is what we want?).

This will affect all the hybrid discs, which will have to be updated (note to me: probably requires a new form and listing table).

Statistics page will remain unchanged, listing only the main system.

Thank you. I will continue to purchase and preserve these rare systems I promise Image

I will ask someone, after this is implemented, if they can edit entries I've already submitted and update them accordingly.

Apologies on double post.

Can you post here once it's updated?

The prospect of this functionality excites me.

I don't know how I feel about them appearing in all dats, this will seriously bloat the Macintosh datfile in particular.

I know how I feel.

I feel relieved people won't have to buy 3 copies of The Horde which cost $210 each just to make an entry in PC98, then FM Towns, and then DOS/V.

Mac needs to be split to 68k Mac, PPC Mac, x86 Mac, x64 Mac, ARM Mac. After that dats should look fine even with hybrids.

Boxes are different for these, so they need to be bought separately in any case (we've already dumped FMT and PC98 releases, though).

Is there anyone actually making discs with ARM Mac software? Because ARM Macs were released last year and they don't have a disc drive.
