Wii / Gamecube dumps, please verify this...

...I read this advice by Haldrie
https://redump.info/disc/8744/ but I don't see any discussion about it.
I found so many USA scene realeses that normally are not shrinked (about Wii only some Japan releases will be bad) with different checksums, so please everything is to be confirmed otherwise we might fullfill DB with bad dumps.
If everything is confirmed it's better to avoid Wifi dumper and check everything that was dumped that way.

These ones have to be checked too:

https://redump.info/disc/8418/
Essentially all the ones released as PROPER by OneUp, because they are our dumps.

Dumped via wifi using Wii Dumper v1.2
Other scene dumps made using rawdump have different garbage data then this dump that I made. If anyone gets different checksums when dumping this same disc then this dump can be deleted. I no longer have access to the original disc to verify this with other dumping software.
-Haldrie
So rawdump/friidump would produce correct "garbage"?

lol silly Haldrie the truth is he dumped 2 games using a shit Wifi dumper and cant redump them...
Rawdump is the defacto standard for dumping Wii / NGC games. and when I asked him why one of his games was different from the PROMiNENT release he told me how he dumped them and i laughed in his face like nelson of the simpsons does. now instead of deleting the dumps till they can be redumped using a much more reliable method he posted that retarted comment. why this has anything to do with bsbt's dumps is beyond me you people read into this stuff too much.

This is why the mods of this site need to update all the dumping guides to help avoid issues like this. We know what hardware/software produces good dumps and what doesn't. I still can't believe in the PSP dumping guide it still says to use UMD DAX Dumper Beta 0.2 seriously WTF. I've asked many times for this to be changed and no one listens. So every new PSP dumper that comes to this site thinks umddax produces good dumps which it doesn't we know it underdumps. So they dump with that and submit their data. Due to the lack of updates to the PSP guide there could be many bad dumps in the PSP section.
My point is there are all sorts of methods and tools one can use to dump a game but there needs to be a standard at redump.org that guides people on the methods WE use to properly dump games.

That could be the difference when dumping from a hard modded Wii vs. soft modded. I know that Haldrie dumped his discs from a soft modded Wii so that could be the problem right there. We need more confirmation but it looks like dumping from a soft modded Wii can produce bad dumps.
Rocknroms I'm not exactly sure why you are questioning the OneUp PROPER releases? What are you using to compare against the PROPER releases the others that got nuked? I'm hoping you can clarify this a little bit more.
