Q1.
What is the difference between "Bundled with Magazine" and "Covermount"?

Q2.
What is the difference between "Reprint" and "Rerelease"?
Is there a distinction between them?

The edition field is rather free form, therefore discrepancies often occur.
In my opinion both discs have a wrong edition.
Since both seem to be covermounts (although I can't comprehend Japanese), they should probably just be the "original" edition.
Where did you find reprint? It seems to be worded rather strangely for this site.
But finding such discrepancies or strange editions / names is probably something you will sadly have to live with.
E. g. I recently came across the "BestSeller Series" editions of some Blizzard games and someone entered Diablo II as "BestSeller Series (2nd edition)", although that does not make much sense. There is just one edition of those Bestseller Series titles.
And then there are titles like "Quake III Arena", which is named "Quake III: Arena" in the database.
It would probably cause too much work for you and the responsible moderator, to write a fix request for everything that is unfitting.

I just don't want to get lost myself, but unifying the wording would be better.

I think "Covermount" is a mod's (Lizard) mistake.

Rerelease is used when the game was released again with a different serial/barcode/packaging and there's no proper name for the new release (no "capcolle", no "value", etc.). For example,
https://redump.info/disc/37395/ vs.
https://redump.info/disc/37302/
Reprint is a very special case when the game was printed again with the same serials and covers but with different contents and the releases are somehow distinguishable. For example,
https://redump.info/disc/10368/ vs.
https://redump.info/disc/60391/ (back cover text and CD label changes) or
https://redump.info/disc/5364/ vs.
https://redump.info/disc/75024/ (CD label changes) or
https://redump.info/disc/60904/ vs.
https://redump.info/disc/37047/ (CD label changes; probably a bootleg, but can't be said for sure).

"Covermount" seems to have a long history.
These are "Covermount" from 2009.

https://redump.info/disc/10120/changes/
These were changed from "Bundled with Magazne" to "Covermount" in May 2018.

So, most "Reprint" is wrong, right?

No one ever used "Bundled with Magazine" in PC or MAC datfiles (in the recent history, at least). And fuzzball itself submitted all the Maclife/MacPeople/MacUser discs with the Covermount tag. Why this should be my mistake? I feel like Bart Simpson sometimes.

That's not something i've just invented, i mean, there's even a Wikipedia page on it.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covermount
Covermount (sometimes written cover mount) is the name given to storage media (containing software and or audiovisual media) or other products (ranging from toys to flip-flops) packaged as part of a magazine or newspaper. The name comes from the method of packaging; the media or product is placed in a transparent plastic sleeve and mounted on the cover of the magazine with adhesive tape or glue.
To be honest after reading this clear description "Bundled with Magazine" seems to be just a fancy way to say the exact same thing...

I'm not sure what happened there with the BestSeller Series (2nd edition), maybe it was used because it's a second print run with a different disc or barcode? It's not uncommon to have different discs for the same "edition", BestSeller Series in this particular case. In regards of the Quake III Arena, i agree that we can rename that, but i've seen different references to Quake III Arena or Quake III: Arena in a lot of websites. Going by the name on Steam and what's written on the cover i would be honestly remove the two dots.

Yes, I referred to the submissions of other monthly magazines.

In fact, the difference is not big. From the point of view of writing logic, a colon is necessary. Remember the Lord of the Rings trilogy. There, the second part of the name is written after the colon.

To my understanding, "Covermount" and "Bundled with magazine" is the exact same thing...
I always used "Covermount" when i submited a disc that was bundled with a magazine because technically it's the correct term...
