Wii U user here, lots of discs, some won’t read even though immaculate, hoping to resolve issue by dumping.

How are you going to dump the discs that won't read? Or am I misunderstanding something?

As I understand it, wudump reads the discs in basically the same way the system does when playing them, although it probably does less checks on the disc than the system menu, so it might work better. But if you have no luck with that you could use disc2app to make filesystem dumps of the discs. These aren't disc images so can't be submitted to redump, but they could still be useful.
