I'm requesting an account to participate in adding to the database.

I also need to know if a Plextor PX-800A is an acceptable model to work with DIC as all of my PS1 and some of my PS2 are CDs.

It is an OEM model and is actually the Optiarc AD-7170 which actually has a lot of firmware mods on Liggy and Dee's website.

Unfortunately OEM Plextor's do not support the 0xD8 command that is required for Redump's methods. You can see a list of supported drives here.
