Havikoro...
1) If bsbt's dumps are made via Rawdump/Friidump the discussion is closed: dumps in DB are right and scene are bad (except Haldrie's one).
2) Indeed if those dumps are made like Haldrie's one they have to be checked because I don't find any info around telling the same scene releases are bad / nuked.
I was pointing at Wii OneUp PROPER releases simply because those are the questioning dumps and nothing else.
Quite a year ago I had to help another dumper to redump about 10 Gamecube games because he used the wrong tool.
About a new guide for Gamecube / Wii dumping: I wanted to make it but I always used Rawdump and anything else so I cannot confirm if any other method is good or bad. If you (or anyone else) have tested other tools and can confirm if something else is suitable, write it down here and I'll make a new guide as soon as possible.
Please post here your experiences with any tool.
PS: However I don't think any wireless method could be good

My dumps were made with an LG drive and rawdump, so they should be good.

Thanks Rocknroms I think I understand where your coming from. I agree I think dumping by wifi is a bad idea and maybe even dumping using the Wii all together but that needs to be tested more.

lol what this discussion really should be about is why Haldrie refuses to delete his dumps.
The 2 recent Wii dumps he made are bad because of the method he used to dump them. The Scene standard method to dump Wii games is using Rawdump 2.0 and the tool Haldrie used streams the data to a FTP site over WiFi which is unreliable and should not be trusted but the WiFi dumper "CAN" make a good dump but in this instance it definately didnt. I know for a fact Wii Sports Resort was dumped using a LG drive and Rawdump.
Remove your dumps Haldrie and stop confusing the shit out of people with your ridiculously bad dumps and retarted comments. With over 95% of scene dumps matching the redump.org database I trust them more then your retarted dumping tool which is KNOWN to cause bad dumps due to the WiFi aspect of it.
asking people to redump something in a database comment is utterly retarted as the game still exists in the ClrMAME dat we know what needs to be dumped and what doesnt we dont want your stupid retarted dump to be added and I think it should be removed until it can be redumped with a more trustworthy method.
this topic has nothing to do with anyone elses dumps so dont even discuss them here.
if you agree with this post please reply with a quick HA HA Haldrie and lets make him remove his crap.

HA HA Haldrie
My reason being is Haldrie's dumps of Rock Band 2 and Wii Sports Resort are bad he should man up and remove them because they aren't doing any good in the db besides causing confusion.

I just dumped Rockband 2 and Wii Sports Resort today, this will hopefully clear things up. I will be adding them shortly. All my dumps are done using Superdump, as I mentioned in my first Wii dump post:
/viewtopic.php?t=2872 … -usa-v101/
I encourage people to redump my dumps which didn't match the scene releases. I'm pretty confident in them though, as my methods/hardware/software have been the same for my 200+ Wii dumps. We can't say the same for the scene releases.

I'm confident in your dumping methodology too. I just started to experiment with Superdump and it seems like really good software to use when dumping from the Wii. Keep up the excellent work your dumps are really appreciated.
