Probably.

I always used "Covermount" when i submited a disc that was bundled with a magazine because technically it's the correct term...
What's about the ones that came with the books? Also "covermount"? And how to distinct the ones that came with the books from the ones that came with the magazines, if so? Magazines are periodical, books are single-time releases, there's quite a big difference.

Because it is your duty as a mod to verify all the fields before accepting, any mistake is your mistake Image

In theory, there should be different definitions. You are right, the magazine is published at regular intervals, but the book is published only once. Although, if we are talking about a series of books, then this is a completely different question.

It is an ideal, not a realistic. First, the rules do not exists.

Okay, but as i've explained that before, i don't really see this as a problem or a mistake.
And covermount should be used, IMHO, just only with the discs bundled with the magazines.
We can write "Bundled with Guide Book", for example, when the disc was bundled with a Guide Book/Strategy Guide or something similar, i don't know, in a similar way as we're doing with bundled Audio and DVD discs, when we're writing "PS2 Game Bundle" or "Bundled with Sony PlayStation 2 Game".

Is there a reason to distinguish guide books from other books? The reason to separate book discs and magazine discs is the book discs are usually either tied to the book contents or contain standalone game demos, while the magazine discs are usually demo + multimedia + free software compilations (we even have a "coverdiscs" category for them, because it's like a unique "genre"). Some magazine CDs also had complete retail games on them, while I don't remember any books with retail games included (except the cases when the book comes as a bonus to the boxed retail game itself, but it's a different story).

Perhaps there is. Travel guides are a separate type of literature; they are not fiction, not a dictionary, or a textbook. To be honest, I had the experience of buying a book with a disc when I started learning Spanish. Together with the textbook, there was a disc with audio recordings for the lessons.
