Another disc I've issues with.

To give some context, this is a compilation of 10 video game demos of retail games (Age of Empires II, Desperados, Frogger 3D, et al).

Of course, both DiscImageCreator and Redumper were able to produce good dumps with my LG drive, matching each other.

Trying again at a lower speed resulted in the same result, the dumping process being cancelled during the scanning stage.

I cancelled the dumping process once five SCSI errors were encountered.

I tried again reducing speed, which didn't really improve the situation.

Hi, sorry for late answer.

full 2352 C2 and SCSI like that indicates either that you got a rotten disc or a ringed DRM of some kind.

Never heard of any AOL discs having the later so check the disc against the light and see if any shines through the label. If it does you got rot.

The disc is indeed pretty scratched, but it has no physical rings of any kind, and I never got SCSI errors with my LG drive, with neither dumping program. Nor there is any light passing thru the label side.

For what is worth, VSO Inspector also handles this disc pretty poorly with my Plextor, whereas it did not (as much) with my LG drive. Dunno what causes my Plextor drive to react this badly with this disc.
