MPF-Legacy_v3.3_net40_win32 on Windwos XP SP3 don't start

Hello,

i want to run MPF on my old winxp machine. Clean fresh install included SP3 and Net Framework 4. MPF crash every time i start.
Do i need to install other software?

Hi, I have not tested MPF on XP, it's just a build of MPF that *should* work.
You'll need Dotnet installed: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/down … work/net40
And then (try to) run this: https://github.com/Deterous/MPF-Legacy/ … _win32.zip

If it's not working, I recommend running the dumping tools (DIC/Redumper) directly via command line on your old machine, and then on a modern machine running MPF.Check on the dump files (You can do this in the GUI, Tools->Check Dump).

Yes i have installed net40 and used MPF-Legacy_v3.3_net40_win32.zip it doesn't work.

i used redumper.exe from MPF-Legacy_v3.3_net40_win32.zip, got  an error message ..

"keine zulässige win32 Anwendung"

"no valid win32 application"


discimagecreator is working fine on 32bit

That's because apparently the 64-bit version is included in MPF Legacy. Try this one: https://github.com/superg/redumper/rele … -win32.zip

I believe Redumper does not work as far back as Windows XP.

You will have to use DiscImageCreator if you want to dump on the Windows XP machine.
