Here is a dumping guide for PS3: /viewtopic.php?t=8523 … ructions/, it also requires an additional specific drive in order to detect/read PS3 discs, unfortunately there is no all-in-one solution.

No possible way to properly preserve your PSX discs unless you own a supported Plextor drive that is compatible with DiscImageCreator.

Depends on what system you're planning to submit dumps for, for CDs a Plextor is required due to it's ability to read lead-in/lead-out, you can read up on the supported models here (/viewtopic.php?t=7568).

I would assume that is what it refers to but there is more than enough space available to dump the disc, the disc is most likely bad as I'm unable to dump it with other software.

You can get the Error Count by using CDmage, open the cue file, then highlight Track 1 located under Session 1, and hit 'Scan for Corruption'.
