Re: Need help finding a burning tool that can do the following...

<r>It's in relation to Dreamcast stuff. Any CDs for that platform need to have two sessions to perform correctly.<br/>
<br/>
I was looking at Bleemcast in particular, where an emulator and game can co-exist on the same disc if you burn a PSX image first, leave an open session on it, and then burn ...

Re: Need help finding a burning tool that can do the following...

<t>Erm, no it doesn't. On either count.<br/>
<br/>
I'm not sure what CloneCD you're thinking of, but if you were referring to SlySoft's program then I've tried that and it doesn't have any multisession options or support for BIN/CUE, only CCD/IMG/SUB.<br/>

Gonna try and see if Alcohol is any ...

Re: Need help finding a burning tool that can do the following...

Does it give you the option to open a new session after burning a CD image?  In fact, does it support BIN/CUE?

Need help finding a burning tool that can do the following...

<t>* Support SATA drives<br/>
* Support multisession<br/>
* Support BIN/CUE images<br/>
<br/>
Numerous programs I've tried fail to include at least one of the above. CDRWin doesn't want to use my SATA drive for burning, ImgBurn astonishingly enough can't do multiple sessions at all, CDBurnerXP only ...

Re: Should I use something other than CDRWin to burn images?

<t>Now see, I always find Nero's strong point to be in its data backup abilities - I only ever use it to back up stuff onto DVDs.<br/>
<br/>
It doesn't seem to me like it's as dedicated a cd-image burner as ones more geared towards it like ImgBurn, CDRWin etc.<br/>

Looking up information ...

Should I use something other than CDRWin to burn images?

<t>I've always been of the opinion that (Goldenhawk's) CDRWin can do no wrong when it comes to burning BIN/CUE images. I recall adopting it a few years ago after noticing it burned Neo Geo CD games a lot better than other programs like Alcohol and Nero (both of which would affect the audio one way ...

Any quick way of removing pregap from the start of a track?

<t>As in.... when I have a Redump game set (BINs and CUE), I wish to be able to cut out the silence bits at the start of every file with a pregap in them.<br/>
<br/>
I know that the Resize tool can usually do wonders... it's just a shame that it can only crop/cut data off of the end of a file, not ...

<r><QUOTE author="Nexy"><s>
</s>better to use cdmage and load the cue sheet, and save the image to a different directory.<e>
</e></QUOTE>

This turned out to work better than the method suggested by RocknRoms - cheers for that. <IMG src="https://forum.redump.info/img/smilies/big ...

Easy way of converting multiple BINs into a single working BIN?

<r>I'm aware that combining all the tracks of a Redumped title is as simple as using "copy /b", but how easy would it be to determine the correct positions of said tracks afterwards so that you can adjust the cuesheet accordingly and it'll still remain accurate?<br/>

Did try googling around ...

Actually I meant "add to and take away from" rather than "left and right", but thanks for the tip nonetheless.
