CD-Tools By Rob Northern
Does anyone happen to have a copy of CD-Tools by Rob? Searching google has returned nil. I poked through Vogons for a while thinking someone there would have it, but all I could find were people that posted outputs from it.

Re: Why Do We Space UPC Codes?
<t>Sorry, what I meant was, the barcode itself, is not spaced. The numbers written underneath are not the code that is encoded in the bars. I totally agree with the inability to add spacing later. That makes total sense. I also was unaware of the Japanese codes having the "T". Again, it totally ...

Re: Why Do We Space UPC Codes?
<t>That seems odd to me. The barcode is, in fact, printed without spaces. It is only the human readable numbers that represent the code underneath, that appears to have spaces. We record it imperfectly, with extra spaces which do not exist in the barcode itself. We try so hard to preserve some data ...

Why Do We Space UPC Codes?
<t>Is there any particular reason why we separate UPC codes with spaces? When scanned, these codes are not spaced, and if not spaced in the database, we could have searchable UPC codes, which would come in handy when shopping for games. While not a true indicator of the disc inside the case, it ...

PX-W4012TA Drive Won’t Spin Up
I bought a PX-W4012TA drive. The tray opens and closes, and the LED blinks. But it never spins the disc and as such never recognizes that a disc even exists in the drive. Is this a known issue with this drive? Are there perhaps replacement motors for it? Or did I just get hosed on the deal?

Re: PX-W4012TU vs PX-W4012TA
Very interesting points. I ordered an internal drive, the 4012TA and a Ugreen usb 3 to ide adapter. Hopefully they work good enough. Thanks for all the info and experience ^_^

Re: Reading Mould Codes
Thank you. I will try to get ahold of some new methods. Currently I found a small macro lens that is helping a lot but definitely need to find better methods.

Reading Mould Codes
Good god, is there some trick that I don't know about when it comes to reading these mould codes? The things are so small I cannot read them, and my scanner blows them out since that section is usually transparent.
